LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 2: Clone Trooper Commando. A nice looking trooper to go with yesterday’s gunship. They even had the decency to include a small blaster. Maybe day 3 won’t be a weapons rack.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 1: Republic Attack Gunship. I can almost hear Yoda, “to the forward command center take me”. Nice little build. I like the use of the window piece to represent the drop bay area. Strong start to the calendar, but that’s pretty typical.

It’s December. That means it’s advent calendar time! I’ll be doing the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar for a 12th year. This time shooting with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Let’s see if I make it past day 5 this year. (We also have 2 chocolate, a tea, and a beer advent calendars.)

Views of Rigi and the Mythens as seen from the Rossberg. Today’s weather was much better for a hike. The fresh Lebkuchen (gingerbread) at Hürital-Alp was delicious.

Took advantage of the day off work to hike up the Rossberg to the Wildspitz again. Visibility was crap and it was blowing snow up top, but it was great to be outside. Also great to go inside and have coffee and soup up top before heading back.

New brown Classic Space astronaut revealed! 🤎

The Rossberg got a fresh dusting of snow this morning. (This is the mountain just south of our apartment that I hiked up on Sunday.)

View of the Ägerital, or Ägeri valley, where I live.

Wildspitz: 12km, 800m ascent, 3h:40m, 1°C 🌥️. Me in my happy place.

The Rossberg, the mountain just south of us, has the barest hint of snow on its top. Makes me want to hike up there tomorrow.
