The part I had been waiting for was a purple old-style helmet to make a purple Classic Space guy out of an alien minifigure. Although the alien’s printed arms and legs also look cool. Maybe for an officer.
One LEGO Shop order, three Gift with Purchase sets. The bags are dubbed “Add-On Packs”, i.e. collections of loosely themed parts, one pirates and the other Halloween. I’m excited for the Halloween pack because it has a part I have been waiting almost two years for.
Among others, set 60348 Lunar Roving Vehicle reminds me of the blue and yellow 6928 Uranium Search Vehicle from 1984 and the gray and green 6901 Mobile Lab from 1980.
Fixed the Lunar Roving Vehicle set.
Brown Classic Space astronaut
New brown Classic Space astronaut revealed! 🤎
Galaxy Explorer (10497)
Of course really that was just an appetizer for this. LEGO definitely knows how to get me to part with my money this year.
Orange Classic Space minifigure
Check out this orange guy! No, I’m not talking about Typhoid Don; it’s a new Classic Space minifigure. 🧡
iMac desk
Only had to disassemble about half of the LEGO Space base to fit my iMac. (iMac’s old location is now dedicated to my new work machine.)
LEGO Space base desk
In order to reclaim space for a new workstation, I’m afraid I have to (partially) dismantle this mega 70’s/80’s LEGO Space base!
