Not to be outdone, the Blacktron forces have built their own prison. They even retrofitted an Alienator to haul jail cells.
Two moving functions in Message Intercept Base (6987) implemented via Technic rack winders (a hallmark of some of the best Space sets from 1987-93).
If only there was someone or something to combat the spread of this Blacktron plague! (Hint: stay tuned for 1989)

6987-1: Message Intercept Base, 1988. My vote for the best space base that LEGO ever made. Large elevated base with opening hangar doors, moving communications dome, spaceship, rover, and 5 astronauts. 💯🖤💛
