6925-1: Interplanetary Rover, 1988. Articulated vehicle with independent suspension, a small scooter stored in the rear, two robots, and two astronauts.

6885-1: Crater Crawler, 1988. Articulated vehicle hauling a small scooter and a robot in the trailer. First black-suited Futuron astronaut. 💙🖤

6875-1: Hovercraft, 1988. Single pilot spacecraft with two deployable satellites/drones.

6848-1: Strategic Pursuer, 1988. Primitive mech with arms jointed only at the elbows and legs only at the ankles. Still, it looked cool.

6830-1: Space Patroller, 1988. Small swing-wing space plane with boosters that double as twin robot companions!

6828-1: Twin-Winged Spoiler, 1988. Is it a walker or a flyer? Either way this small Futuron set came with plenty of cool parts.

6770-1: Lunar Transporter Patroller, 1988. Articulated truck with flashing lights and siren sounds powered by the big 9V battery box in the rear.

That’s (finally) it for LEGO Space 1987: 16 sets spanning 3 subthemes. Biggest year yet. Next stop: 1988.

2 Blacktron Renegades = double trouble

That wraps up the first wave of 3 Blacktron sets, and with that I am finally finished with LEGO Space 1987
