Standalone robots 1987-95. I think there have only been two LEGO Space sets with robots and no minifigures: Spy-Bot from 1987 and this one.

Standalone robots 1987-95. I think there have only been two LEGO Space sets with robots and no minifigures: Spy-Bot from 1987 and this one.
Crater Critters, 1995. Two brick-built robots. Many useful parts but not a lot else going on here. Neither robot has any articulation below the shoulders.
Surveillance Scooter, 1995. Compact flyer with poseable thrusters and an astronaut. Pretty unremarkable.
These are the 8 LEGO Space sets from 1994 (2 Ice Planet + 5 Spyrius + 1 Unitron). What will 1995 bring?
Space Monorails 1987-94. LEGO only ever released 3 monorail sets, 2 of which were space-themed: Futuron’s Monorail Transport System from 1987 and Unitron’s Monorail Transport Base from 1994. The second set added switches, enabling more complex track layouts.
Monorail Transport Base, 1994. New theme Unitron starts off big with an electric cogwheel monorail space base. The train has 2 detachable pods that can be offloaded and even placed on a rover. Features 2 bases, 3 levels of track, and a secret comms center for a Spyrius spy robot.
Lunar Launch Site was the first LEGO Space set to use BURP’s.*

Lunar Launch Site (as per its name) features a missile launch platform inside a rock formation to keep it hidden from prying eyes. (I think the back half is supposed to flop open, but it needed a helping hand.)
Lunar Launch Site features a pit trap mechanism just in case someone comes along poking their nose where it doesn’t belong.
