One LEGO Shop order, three Gift with Purchase sets. The bags are dubbed “Add-On Packs”, i.e. collections of loosely themed parts, one pirates and the other Halloween. I’m excited for the Halloween pack because it has a part I have been waiting almost two years for.

Hike up to the white cross on a cool and cloudy morning: 5.1 km, 272m ascent, 1h20m, 8°C ☁️. I woke up with headache and nausea, but glad I forced myself to go out. Feeling 100% better now.
Today was a gym day, my least favorite workout (because it’s not outdoors). As a sedentary tech worker approaching my mid-50’s, I figure I need to combat muscle loss (and maybe gain a little). The best part is walking there and back. Today a heron was hunting along the banks of the canal.
Hazy morning over the Ägerital
Made (American) Chinese takeout-style Hot and Sour Soup for lunch. Not bad for a first effort. This version has chicken stock, pork shoulder, and egg (original recipe). In the future I might try a vegan version.
Another cool (10° C) morning on the Ägerisee, but less mist this time. Water is still warm from the summer even though it’s now October. I’d like to see how late in the season I can keep going out this year.
Among others, set 60348 Lunar Roving Vehicle reminds me of the blue and yellow 6928 Uranium Search Vehicle from 1984 and the gray and green 6901 Mobile Lab from 1980.
Fixed the Lunar Roving Vehicle set.
LEGO Set 60348: Lunar Roving Vehicle (2022). Multi-wheeled vehicle with four hatches and two articulated arms. Includes a geode with crystal inside, a driver, and two astronauts. I like the docking hatches on the sides of the rover. These connect with the lunar base from another set.
