The new iPhone SE is cool and all, but I kind of wish they threw the A13 processor into an IPhone 5S body instead of the larger and slipperier iPhone 8 body. Oh well. My rose gold SE is still running great as backup phone.

LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 26: Alpha-1 Rocket Base (483), 1978. My first LEGO Space set! I loved this little base.
LEGO, liquor, and New Order
LEGO, liquor, and New Order!
Farmy
The farm delivery service we’re using for fresh seasonal fruits & vegetables here in Switzerland is now scheduling deliveries for mid-May. So be it. Order placed. Pretty sure we’ll still be staying home and social-distancing then (even if the general populace no longer is).
Not a single blow
On our adventure, our party defeated 3 zombies, 2 thorn-flinging bushes, a snake person, and a giant 3-hex stag beetle, but my character (Captain Metalbeard, a pirate) didn’t land a single blow and dropped his weapon twice in a row! At least no characters died.
More remote Melee
Another fun remote RPG session with family in the States today. We use a WhatsApp video call with the cameras focused on the game maps so that we can keep them in sync. Has worked surprisingly well. I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s session!
Day 24: Easter Bunny Hut
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 24: Easter Bunny Hut (5005259), 2018. Happy Bunny Day! 🐇🌷🥚
Remote Melee
Yesterday we had an inter-continental RPG session with my brother and nephew. We defeated a 3-hex giant snake and one snake person inside the carcass of a gigantic turtle, but another one ran away. Looking forward to tomorrow’s session when they’ll be back with reinforcements!
Day 23: Space Buggy
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 23: Space Buggy (886), 1979. Tiny but perfect.
Day 22: Spaceships
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 22: Spaceships, 1979. All 3 enclosed spaceships from the initial release of LEGO Space sets. So great.
