The great thing about an online course is that you can attend with your favorite beverage. Tonight that’s a margarita. In line with a whole-food, plant-based diet, it’s made with fresh-squeezed lime and sweetened with agave syrup. To reduce sodium I only salted half the rim. đ¤Ł

New cooking course
I am excited to start a 3 month online cooking course tonight. It’s the Forks Over Knives Ultimate Course. Learning how to cook with no oil, no sugar, and no animal products is like learning a new programming language or maybe even like a new programming paradigm. Bring it on!
Day 33: Space Supply Station
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 33: Space Supply Station (6930), 1983. The fourth LEGO Space base was smaller with only a single crater plate, an elevated design, and a new color scheme. I quite like this one though, especially the two ground vehicles.
Mugs in space
I love that they included a mug because of course there would be coffee in space. I also like that the large computer screen shows the Alpha-1 Rocket Base.
Day 31: Beta I Command Base
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 31: Beta I Command Base (6970), 1980. The third LEGO Space base spanned two crater plates and included a sizable ship, launching pad, rover, monorail, table, and even two beds.
Bärlaunch pesto
Pounding the shit out of some bärlauch (ramsons) to make pesto.
Easing measures

Day 28: Space Bases
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 28: Space Bases, 1978. Alpha-1 Rocket Base and Space Command Center, the two original LEGO Space bases.
Day 27: Space Command Center
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 27: Space Command Center (493), 1978. Another early LEGO Space base. This one features four astronauts, a carport, two vehicles, and a command center that seats two.
