Today I turned off cross-posting to the bird site. (I’ve been posting to my own blog using micro dot blog for nearly 5 years and cross-posting to the bird site and recently Mastodon, only now the cross-posting is only to Mastodon.)
I’m looking forward to building this.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 24: Ugly Sweater R2-D2. Pairs with his bff C-3PO from earlier in the calendar. His sweater has the Rebel alliance logo on the back. Thumbs up. And that’s a wrap for this year. Happy holidays!

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 23: Santa Gonk Droid. A gonk power droid all dressed up like Santa complete with the hat, white beard, red and white suit and black boots. It’s almost Christmas! Thumbs up.

Winter hike Wengen to Wengneralp: 6.8 km, 700m ascent, 2h:30m, 2°C ☁️. I opted out of skiing today due to blisters on my shins from my ski boots. View of the Jungfrau from Wengneralp.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 22: Wampa Cave. This icy cave with a stray bone would be lame by itself, but combined with yesterday’s Luke you can recreate the heartwarming scene when Luke uses Force telekinesis for the first time immediately prior to dismembering a Wampa. 👍

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 21: Hoth Luke Skywalker. They’re really going all in on the Hoth builds in the latter half of this advent calendar and I am here for it. Luke looks ready to cut off some Wampa arms. Thumbs up.

Today was my first day on the slopes this season. That’s the Eiger in the background.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 20: Laser Cannon. Another piece of Hoth Echo Base’s defense in Empire Strikes Back. A little on the small side but it looks cool and I like the snowy base. Thumbs up.
