Wearing a face mask really makes me miss Touch ID.

Selfish individualism
I used to think this kind of selfish individualism was a uniquely American trait, but really it’s everywhere (at least in the Western Hemisphere). “Rules are for everyone else.” No, they’re not. Stay the fuck home.
Bad health ministers
First Scotland, now New Zealand. Health ministers need to set an example and stay the fuck home. (Not that Trump sets any kind of example either.)
Day 18: C-3PO
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 18: C-3PO (5002948), 2015. “It is I, LEGO C-3PO. You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.”
Day 17: Flyer Cracker U.S.A.
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 17: Flyer Cracker U.S.A. (1974-2), 1989. Town helicopter with a tiny fuel depot.
Day 16: Flying Machine
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 16: Flying Machine (2539), 1998. WTF even is this thing? Same dude as yesterday only this time flying something far less cool. Oh well, at least it came with some black wings I can put on that dragon.

Owen vs Bat Lord
Day 15: Bat Lord
LEGO Quarantine Advent Calendar, Day 15: Bat Lord (6007), 1997. Basil the Bat Lord on his trusty dragon steed. Worth it for the dragon alone.
Bulb vs clove
Cooking confession: the first time I made pesto (nearly 30 years ago), I used dried basil instead of fresh and (having confused bulbs and cloves) two bulbs of raw garlic. We ate it anyway.
Mortar and pestle
Inspired by an episode of Salt Fat Acid Heat on Netflix, I made pesto with mortar and pestle for the first time. Only I made it with bärlauch (wild garlic) instead of basil. Smashing the crap out of the leaves and pine nuts felt very therapeutic! Will do again.
