We took a day trip to Bellinzona today to visit the Saturday market and two of the town’s three medieval castles.


Group hike this morning through farm fields and woods near Baar: 7.7km, 160m ascent, 1h20m, 2°C. Easy return to hiking after a couple months off.

Amphibians! These road signs appear around Switzerland each Spring. People even help frogs cross roads. I like that the Swiss care for the environment and for little things.
