Yesterday we drove to Scuol in eastern Switzerland for the 3-day weekend. We took a cable car from Scuol up to Motta Naluns, ate lunch there, then hiked down to Ftan. We had Thai for dinner then relaxed in the pools at the Bad Scuol (spa) until they closed at 10pm.

Summer! (at the top of the Flüelapass at 2,383m on the way to Scuol in eastern Switzerland)

For WWDC Day 5 I hiked up the Wildspitz, the highest mountain in Zug canton at 1,580m. 5.3km, 450m ascent, 2h, 10°C.

For WWDC Day 4 I hiked up to Zugerberg Hochwacht. It’s a gentle grassy peak with a lovely shade tree and 360° views of Zug and Ägeri lakes. This might be a new favorite local spot! 8km, 300m ascent, 2h, 11°C.

When I start listening to Skinny Puppy’s “Too Dark Park”, it’s probably time to stop coding for the evening…
For WWDC Day 2 I hiked up to Rigi Scheidegg from Kräbel: 9km, 900m ascent, 3h10m, 20°C. Lovely day and a good training hike for Mt. Pilatus.

Home in time for WWDC! (And work, and school, and German classes.)
