Days since I have declared a class as “pubic”: 0
Dramatic skies over the lake this morning when I went out paddling. Same air temp as yesterday, but felt much chillier because the sun wasn’t shining and there was a light breeze.
TIL that one of the Crew Dragon astronauts is the husband of an astronaut (and oceanographer) who I went to grad school with. Small world!
Scrubbed! See you on Saturday fellow Space fans.
At 7:30 this morning it was sunny and calm and I had the lake all to myself. Air/water were 9°/16°C, respectively.
View of Lake Zug from today’s hike (while waiting for my son): 7.7km, 1h50m, 250m ascent, 17°C.
Improvised a SUP carrier from a shopping trolley, bungee cords, and some climbing straps so I can leave it inflated and walk to the nearest water access. (Last year I was inflating and deflating with each use.)
Squeezed in a short solo hike while waiting on my son to finish an activity: 4.7 km, 1h10m, 190m ascent, 21°C. Beautiful sunny day.
Silhouette of tree and two wallabies as seen on my after dinner walk. Don’t ask me why this Swiss farmer has wallabies.
