LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 4: Young Luke. Minifigs and New Hope material are both always good, so thumbs up for today.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 3: Luke’s Home. I’m a sucker for these micro-scale location builds, so today’s a winner for me. All I need are a few flame pieces to recreate the scene when Luke returns home after galavanting about with Ben.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 2: Ugly Sweater Poe Dameron. Poe looks like he’s about to blast whoever handed him this mug of shitty coffee. I like the BB-8 pattern on his sweater.

A-Wing Starfighter 2015 vs 2020. This year’s model is a big improvement.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 1: A-Wing Starfighter. This is a fine looking little ship and a solid start to the calendar, but I’m sure disappointment awaits!

Last Sunday we set up our vintage mid-century aluminum Xmas tree. We moved out of our mid-century modern house 3 years ago, but we still love the tree (and the house but from afar).

Our son printed cat butt cookie cutters in two sizes to represent our two cats. Note the nuts on the larger tomcat cookies. 🤣

Totally worth it to wake up at 2am to hear our new Vice President and President speak. I feel represented for the first time in four years. Feels good. Sweet dreams y’all!
The world breathes a sigh of relief. I breathe a sigh of relief. Time to go get some fuckin’ ice cream!
I hereby declare today to be Comfort Food Friday. It’s been a week, and we could all use some indulgence and self-care.
