Office for the day: Amsterdam, preparing to give a tutorial tomorrow. This is my first time traveling outside of Switzerland (other than for family visits) since 2019.
Went out with our foldable kayak on our local lake this morning before it got too hot (we’re having a heat wave in Europe).

Filled up the SUP and got it on the water for the first time this year. Paddled to the next village over on the lake to hear a concert and have dinner and then paddled back. Perfect Saturday evening.
These switchbacks in the second half of the Stanserhorn hike were just brutal on a warm day: unrelentingly up with almost no shade.

Hiked the Stanserhorn yesterday: 10.1km, 1383m ascent, 3h:28m, 26°C, 🌤. Only my second time for this hike and it was a tough one (for me), but so beautiful; especially the final bit along the ridge.
