Paris trip, day 1/2: train to Paris, crepes for lunch in Île de la Cité, quick peek at Notre-Dame Cathedral, Monet’s water lilies at l’Orangerie, climbing Montmartre, Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Van Gogh exhibit at Atelier des Lumières, charcuterie and frommage for dinner.

Heading back to Switzerland after a fantastic visit with family, but since the start of my vacation on July 24, there have been 21 mass shootings in the United States (according to Wikipedia). Thoughts and prayers, y’all!

Heading to the U.S. to visit family. This will be my first time back in 2 years. I’ll be trading European heatwave for summer in FL.
