Dramatic skies over the lake this morning when I went out paddling. Same air temp as yesterday, but felt much chillier because the sun wasn’t shining and there was a light breeze.

At 7:30 this morning it was sunny and calm and I had the lake all to myself. Air/water were 9°/16°C, respectively.

View of Lake Zug from today’s hike (while waiting for my son): 7.7km, 1h50m, 250m ascent, 17°C.

Improvised a SUP carrier from a shopping trolley, bungee cords, and some climbing straps so I can leave it inflated and walk to the nearest water access. (Last year I was inflating and deflating with each use.)

Squeezed in a short solo hike while waiting on my son to finish an activity: 4.7 km, 1h10m, 190m ascent, 21°C. Beautiful sunny day.

Silhouette of tree and two wallabies as seen on my after dinner walk. Don’t ask me why this Swiss farmer has wallabies.

Sun in my eyes selfie during a post-dinner walk in the valley

Selfie with lake in background. Did a 4km loop walk from home. We’ve been here almost 3 years now and I’m still discovering new places in this valley.

Spring hike from Raten to St Jost: 5.9km, 170m ascent, 2h15m, 7°C. Quite muddy as the snows melt.
