To reach Stoos we had to ride the world’s steepest funicular. It’s a pretty clever piece of engineering.

Morning mountain: Stoos, only 30 minutes from home. We’ll definitely be back.

Morning Outing: Caumasee (Lake Cauma) near Flims. This was on a chilly overcast day. On a sunny day it’s supposed to be truly stunning. Air/water temps were only 15/20°C, but we had to swim anyway. Brisk! Now to mess around with NSFetchedResultsController and UICollectionView…

Afternoon outing: boat trip most of the way around Lake Ägeri followed by a 5 km walk home through forest and farm fields.

Morning mountain: Mostelberg above Sattel. This is a small one (1200m), but it’s only about 15 minutes from home. I took the boys up here this morning to run around while I refactored some Core Data managed object relationships and network calls.

Not something I expected to see whilst hiking in the Swiss Alps.
