So is your Micro.blog anniversary 1 year from when you joined or 1 year from your first post? Because I signed up 1 year ago today. Since then I’ve been primarily posting to my own blog and letting a bot cross-post to Twitter.
Tonight I swam 1 km for the first time. My Watch presented me with this award. We joined a pool in mid-November and have been trying to swim at least 3x a week. (The best part is the heated swim-out pool with jets and bubbles for after. Especially when it’s snowing.)
I finally found a phone too big for my Glif: iPhone Max in the smart battery case. 🤣
Android Base, 1996. I love the big blue quarter domes. Typical space base set with a building, ground vehicle, small spaceship, and a few astronauts. The domes swing open to allow the truck to enter.
Sophie the tapir would come out of the forest at dawn to get fruit or cookies.
Selfie with a tapir (taken in December). This is Sophie. She likes cookies. 13/10
Scorpion Detector, 1996. Segmented ground vehicle with a large telescope/weapon/sensor as the tail and arms with red/blue scanning dishes and a magnet as the pincers. Includes two astronauts and a pair of alien fossil tiles to find.
Nebula Outpost, 1996. Two-story mini base with two astronauts. The upper base has transparent blue gull-wing doors. Includes a magnetic arm and a red/blue scanner for collecting and analyzing alien fossil tiles.
iPhone Max with smart battery case has the same reassuring weight as one of those big Maglite flashlights that take 4 D batteries.
