Dramatic skies over the lake this morning when I went out paddling. Same air temp as yesterday, but felt much chillier because the sun wasn’t shining and there was a light breeze.
TIL that one of the Crew Dragon astronauts is the husband of an astronaut (and oceanographer) who I went to grad school with. Small world!

At 7:30 this morning it was sunny and calm and I had the lake all to myself. Air/water were 9°/16°C, respectively.

Improvised a SUP carrier from a shopping trolley, bungee cords, and some climbing straps so I can leave it inflated and walk to the nearest water access. (Last year I was inflating and deflating with each use.)
