LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 8: Battle Droid. A little on the lame side, but at least they included a blaster.

Micro Naboo Starfighters
Naboo Starfighter 2012 vs 2018. Wait, they’re exactly the same! Well, that certainly was lazy. Guess the designers decided they got it right the first time? Hard to believe no new parts have come out in the intervening 6 years that would allow improvements.
Day 7: Naboo Starfighter
LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 7: Naboo Starfighter. Clever little micro ship build.
Alien Fossilizer
Alien Fossilizer, 1996. Ground vehicle with magnetic crane arm and red/blue scanners. The astronaut’s suit is connected to the vehicle by a hose. Includes a magnetic “alien fossil” tile (sticker) for the crane to collect.
Day 6: Cloud City
LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 6: Cloud City, Bespin with Twin-Pod Cloud Car. I’m a fan of these location-based builds (plus The Empire Strikes Back material is always a hit with me).
Hovertron
Hovertron, 1996. Small stand up hovercraft with astronaut. Two holographic stickers are used for detailing (not a big fan of stickers).
Advent IG-88’s
IG-88 2015 vs 2018. A printed head and included blaster and rifle make this year’s edition vastly superior.
Day 5: IG-88
LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, Day 5: IG-88. Everybody’s favorite robot bounty hunter!
Droid vs Droid
Spyrius vs Exploriens droids. Basically the same print only in different colors. I like the transparent head and gold on black face printing of the Exploriens droid.
Droid Scout
Droid Scout, 1996. Small flyer with droid pilot. New Space theme: Exploriens, for which this is the smallest set. I like their logo.
