LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 19: AT-ST. Another Hoth build! A chicken walker from Empire Strikes Back caught mid-stride. I love it. Thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 18: Turret. Part of the Echo Base defenses as seen in Empire Strikes Back. It’s a fun build to assemble and the turret even rotates. I like the snow drifted up against the base. Thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 17: Snowtrooper. A snowtrooper to go with yesterday’s weapon wall. I would be tempted to ding yet another snowtrooper in an advent calendar, but this one is a black woman and not the usual clone, so thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 16: Weapons Rack. Ugh. Well I knew this was coming sooner or later. At least it has some interesting cover for the shooter, an ammo crate, and a mouse droid with its own hole. Thumbs down though.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 15: TIE Interceptor. Yet another great ship build of the faster TIE fighters introduced in Return of the Jedi. Thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 14: B-Wing Fighter. An excellent (and relatively large) micro-scale representation of this Return of the Jedi starfighter. I’ve never really seen the “b” shape, but thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 13: Mustafar Sand Castle. A fun little companion build to yesterday’s Beach Vader, but it feels a little plain. It would have been much better if they’d included some crabs or a seashell. Thumbs down.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 12: Beach Vader. Beach vacation themed Darth Vader. I love the sunset Scarif Death Star scene on his top, which is reminiscent of the 90’s LEGO Paradisa theme. Thumbs up.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar Day 11: V-35 Landspeeder. I had to look this one up. Apparently it was on screen in A New Hope for like 2 seconds when Luke & Ben arrive in Mos Eisley. I like the sideways build technique and the color blocking. Thumbs up.
