UK trip, Day 8: Edinburgh castle, scones with clotted cream and jam, bus tour of Edinburgh, high tea, and room service for dinner.

It’s weird being back in Edinburgh after 28 years. I spent my junior year of college studying mathematics here.

We dubbed our hotel bathroom “The James Bond Suite” after the Sean Connery James Bond decor!

UK trip, Day 7: Travel day. Dover to London to Edinburgh by train. Platform 9 3/4 in King’s Cross. Staying at the Balmoral. Mexican for dinner.

UK trip, Day 6: Dover Castle and the White Cliffs of Dover. From sunny to rainy. Secret Wartime Tunnels from WWII were neat.

UK trip, Day 5: Leeds Castle. We’re even spending the night on castle grounds! English food for lunch and dinner. Lovely.

UK trip, Day 4: St Paul’s cathedral, dining with the dead in the crypt, a windy and cold Stonehenge, American food for dinner at Shake Shack (don’t judge!)

UK trip, Day 3: Westminster Abbey, Museum of Natural History, Italian for dinner.

UK trip, Day 2: Tower Bridge, Tower of London, fish & chips for lunch, scones with clotted cream and jam, London Eye, 10 Downing St, Lebanese food for dinner

UK trip, Day 1: Travel to London, walk around Westminster, walk past Buckingham Palace, visit Churchill War Rooms (as in Darkest Hour), Indian food for dinner
